Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Peon websites and services, including content and features offered through peon.online and app.peon.online (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Organisation accounts require authority to bind that organisation.

The service

Peon provides AI-assisted workflows, company information tooling, documents, and related features for UK-oriented business use, as described on our website and in-product. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping credentials confidential, and for the accuracy of information you provide. Notify us promptly at contact@peon.online if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

You will not misuse the Service — including by probing or circumventing security, overloading systems, scraping in breach of our technical controls, infringing intellectual property, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach.

AI-generated content

Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing information before relying on it for legal, tax, accounting, or filing decisions. Nothing generated by the Service constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice unless separately provided by a qualified professional you engage directly.

Fees and payment

Paid features are billed as described at checkout or in your order. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEON AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) ONE HUNDRED POUNDS STERLING (GBP £100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties (for example authentication, payments, and infrastructure). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires a different process for material changes.

Questions about these Terms: contact@peon.online.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where they cannot be waived. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction for business users where permitted; consumers may have rights to bring claims in their home courts.

These Terms are a starting point only. Have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on them commercially.
